How do I use a template in Excel?

Useful templates are often better suited for specific purposes than a blank sheet. Creating a workbook from scratch can be very time-consuming, depending on its complexity. Templates contain a certain look, structure and are solving a certain problem. After entering your own data, appropriate formulas and results are presented. Most templates can be customized to meet individual needs.

1. click on the left tab File and then on the menu item New.  The first template selection with your categories will be visible.
